Breaking the consent

How do we break the quiet consent, That submission that by mutual assent Fettered and fostered in our ignorance Ensuring us safe in our enslaved silence? How do we break the quiet consent, Do we pay them back in their words indecent Do we mimic their acts of violence Or learn the lessons of their misguidance? How do we break the quiet consent, Of their eternal tyranny ever adamant Accepted with complete and submissive defiance, Words and thoughts and deeds departed in total silence.
