I am the visited

Those past moments that were over lingering
Left me dishevelled and sad still whispering
Against a depression that didn't always stay,
One that was a wan visitor soon on its way.

For there came a moment that calls and envelopes me.
Drawing me away to a land of peace and refreshing.
Though I sense that this caller too is merely visiting
A visitor that arrived silently and invisibly.

Once that walked in though I was avoiding my rage
And yes while it's easy too to send this guest away
Her peace gently nurtured in me grace and courage
Facing all sadness while drawing me out peacefully

I should invite this visitor in after all she knows me and my everything well before I ever did.
