A list of things men should hate (about being a man)

Liking male hero ultra violent movies. Admiring alpha male role models. Labelling yourself as rational when you lose your temper.

Changing the channel. Leaving that last sheet of toilet paper. Missing your shot when the lid is down. Trigger fingers.

Speaking over women. Hashtagging quiet men as effeminate pussies. Cat calling. Trolling non-binary men. Deliberately failing at personal diplomacy.

Trash talking those who speak different. Not being still when listening. Interrupting. Interrupting when interrupted. Escalating arms races.

Offering world class expertise without qualification. Never saying I don't know. Or perhaps I'm wrong. Walking on the last melting icecap.

Never asking for redirection. Or help. Nor learning for the next time. Deliberately misreading maps. Refusing to stop and take a sounding. Burning coal.

Misogynist jokes that make no physical sense. First person active shooters. Armour piercing ammunition. Helmets and military back packs. Leaf blowers.

Impatience under instruction. Road rage. Assumed mechanical knowledge. Handyman skills conferred at birth. Embedded shame.

Using woke unknowingly. Burning books. And dictionaries. And post sermon: Concordances. Not reading Jane Eyre.

Never recycling. Leaving dirty cups on the work bench. Calling house work gendered. Negligent dust collection. Dirtying Mars post-Earth.

Dish breaking to avoid washing up. Law breaking. DV from a "nice guy". Shirt burning: failing at ironing. Inability to make a sandwich. Self starving incels.

Nappy changing aversion. Mixing dirty and clean clothes. Choseimg to separate whites and colours now there's no DEI. Deporting new born clothes to the wrong drawers.

Reading traumatising fairy tales. Not sparing the rod. Assuming foreplay is a short term commitment. Thinking submit to one another in Christ only works for one gender.

Incuriosity. Incuriosity about incuriosity. Insensitivity.

Ostracising men of mercy and compassion. Condemning women who preach the same.

Not all men but it only takes one.
