The Silence

Part 1

I waited for your word,
And no sound came,
I waited all in vain,
Silence is a shadow.
I opened my mouth,
And tried to speak,
But all my words died,
Silenced by the shadow.
So I lived mute,
Too afraid to speak,
My heart withered
Silenced by the shadow.
Part 2
My heart still speaks,
My words are ready,
My soul shouts out,
Even in the silence.

It must be said,
My words will live,
My heart will love,
Without the silence.

That day will come,
My heart will sing,
My soul will dance,
Never the silence.

Your heart called,
Your soul spoke,
My heart answered,
No more silence.
